This has been the view from my kitchen window for a few days now. It’s snowing constantly, but supposed to clear up and become very cold soon, about -14 degrees Celsius.

Oh summer

Now, in the dark, cold, sterile winter, I am really longing for those summer days in the mountains, bright and so full of life.
The image was taken with a Fuji S3 (UV/IR converted) and a Tamron 90/2.8 lens last summer. The insects are mayflies, swarming on sunny days during July. Click on image for bigger [...]

Cabin Fever: 360 Degrees

This panoramic image consists of 16 individual photos taken with a Nikon D40x and stitched together. The photos were taken in early autumn 2008, just after the very first snow fall.
The place is named Gålå and situated in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway.

Winter has arrived in southern Norway. Was about time after so many dark and “photographically” boring months!
