An Ordinary Guy at the Machinima Expo

So I was there. At the Machinima Expo. It was amazing!

Felt like attenting a real conference.

Some great movies to watch too. The one I liked best was the national geographic parody.

There also were exhibition booths. Here is the Reallusion booth. But no staff was there to talk to, just commercials to watch. The same at the Short Fuse booth. Did not manage to play the video there, so no idea what they really were presenting.

Enjoyed great machinima together with other guests. Quite some impressive people there, some also annoying, popping into the conference room, some were naked, some were even smoking. I think the organizers should have done something about that, I mean, to smoke in public areas and being naked, come on, that should not be alowed, but oh well, that is how people are, especilally at conferences. but otherwise it was quite fun.

So then there was the major event were the winners of the jury prizes were announced. Those of them who were present, entered the stage and said a few words.

Here are all the winners. Quite an achievement, not only for a pig!

The audience enjoyed the show, there were quite a few prominent guests. Actually, most of those who attended were somehow involved in the machinima scene, it appeared. made me feel lost as just a regular guy at times.

There also was a podium discussion. And here is the organizer himself. Many thanks for a great event!

Sadly, around midnight local time, I had to leave the event.
