HD720 with the Casio EX-F1

In short: suitable in good light!
Occasionally there are some visible artifacts, though not very pronounced (see examples below).

The two example images above each represent a downscaled full frame extracted from a HD720 clip. The insets are sub-regions of the respective frames at higher resolution. Some artifacts along edges are visible under careful inspection.
The short video clip on top is highlighting the problem of what looks like back and forth focus hunting (termed “breathing” in a review at luminous-landscape.com) present at the beginning of each clip of HD720 footage taken with the Casio EX-F1. Otherwise HD720 is a useful feature of the EX-F1. More on the other video modes later.
